AI and Film: The Rise of Synthetic Actors

We are already seeing actors de-aged in movies using AI. But the technology is going further, allowing for completely synthetic actors or digital clones of deceased performers.

This raises massive ethical and legal questions. Who owns an actor's likeness after they die? Will human actors be replaced by digital puppets that don't demand high salaries?

The answer lies in union negotiations and legal frameworks. But creatively, it opens up worlds where actors can play any age, or even perform in impossible scenarios safely.
